Shara recently graduated from MK College and has accepted a place at the University of Bedfordshire:

“Studying Access to Humanities and Social Sciences has massively helped me to get one step closer to my overall goal of being a secondary school teacher.

Access was a great experience for me to understand what life as a university student would be like. Studying was never too difficult for me as I had such an excellent support system in my teachers and my classmates.

The main challenge for me was that English is not my first language so I would translate the work to help me have a better understanding, but with the help of my tutors I started to use different strategies and with their guidance and encouragement I overcame this challenge. My tutors were fundamental in helping me achieve good grades and get where I am today.”
