Engineering HND

On this course, you will study a variety of engineering topics from further mathematics to lean manufacturing. You can expect to participate in both group lessons and independent research. You will have the opportunity to conduct an academic research project to expand your knowledge and understanding. Your mathematical skills will be applied to both electrical and mechanical principles to ensure your knowledge is up-to-date with current industry expectations.

On successful completion of this course you can either gain employment, study towards a BEng or BSc degree course or relevant professional qualifications.*

The HND course is for those who already hold a HNC qualification and want to further their career as an engineer. This course offers a strong sector-related emphasis on practical, academic & management skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. You should hold a full HNC (RQF) qualification and GCSEs at grade C/4 in English and Maths.
