Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visits MK College

On Monday 23rd January, we were joined at Milton Keynes College by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak MP.

Mr Sunak was accompanied by our local MPs Iain Stewart and Ben Everitt and toured the Innovation and Technology Centre at our Chaffron Way campus. The Prime Minister met students and apprentices in our engineering, aerospace and carpentry workshops.

Sally Alexander, CEO and Group Principal of MK College Group, commented: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to the staff and students who made the visit possible. The Prime Minister commented on our excellent staff and learning spaces, as well as highlighting our students who he said were ‘a credit to the College’”.

We were delighted to be able to show the Prime Minister our excellent facilities and equipment at the Innovation and Technology Centre and talk to him about the key issues facing the education sector, as well as discuss developments at the College Group including our Chaffron Centre and our new South Central Institute of Technology at Bletchley.
