INTRODUCTION
This qualification provides learners with the knowledge, skills, and understanding of web design to work in a web design team as a freelance web designer or seek relevant employment.

This qualification includes 5 mandatory units that will support learners in developing their skills to access the available and relevant opportunities to their capabilities and aspirations.

No specific prior skills or knowledge are necessary for this qualification. However, having achieved a level 2 digital qualification may be beneficial. Additionally, successful completion of a Pre-Course Questionnaire and interview is required.

How will my progress be monitored?
During the programme, the tutor will set homework and independent learning activities, and verbal and written feedback will be provided.
How will I be assessed?
You will produce an internally assessed portfolio of evidence, evaluated by college staff and externally quality assured by NCFE. This portfolio will consist of various assessments, such as product production, written work, and observation.
How much will I have to study each week?
As part of the program, you will be required to spend 3 hours a week in college and dedicate approximately 2 hours of work outside of college time.
