Discovery Days
You will be invited to attend a course-related induction day. On this day you will meet your tutors, see the facilities you’ll be working in and get to know other students who will be joining the course at the same time as you. You’ll be able to experience a full day in College, find out what our cafes and canteens offer, and just generally get to know the environment.
Please look out for an email where you will be able to register for a Discovery Day.

Additional Key Dates to Remember
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, here are some key dates that you might want to make a note of:
Advisory Days – We’re sure you have GCSE results day etched on your brain, which is handy as this is when our Advisory Days kick in. On August 12th, 13th and 16th, for those who haven’t applied to college yet, we’ll be holding bookable sessions where you’ll be able to get advice on which course to study. We’ll even get you enrolled on the day. If you’ve already applied to college and have your place for September, there’s no need to worry about coming in as your tutor will be in touch once your results are in.
Enrolment – From August 12th, you’ll be able to enrol online and officially become an MK College student. If you’re not sure whether you’ve made the right choice or need to speak to someone about your results, enrol as normal, and your tutor will be in touch to make sure you’re all set and talk through options if you need to.
Start of Term – Hooray your first day is finally here! You will receive your timetable week commencing the 5th September and this will let you know when you’re coming in at the start of term from the 12th September. During this first week of term you’ll receive your student pass, digital induction, uniform and everything else you’ll need to start your classes that week. Exciting!
