What to bring for your Discovery Day
So you’ve booked on to your Discovery Day, great job!
To get the most from your day it’s important you come prepared. Check below to see what you need to bring and wear.

Art and Design – You may be using paint/messy materials, so would advise wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting art materials on. Please bring a notebook and pen.
Business – Smart casual clothing. Please bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
T Level Management & Administration – Please wear smart/casual clothing and bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
Catering & Hospitality – Please wear enclosed, flat footwear and ensure nails are short and hair is tied back. Please bring a notebook and pen.
Creative & Digital Arts – Please wear appropriate clothing for a work environment (Jeans & T-shirt are fine) Please bring a notebook and pen.
Digital Technologies – Please wear smart/casual clothing and bring a notepad and pen.
Fashion & Textiles – You may be using paint/messy materials, so we would advise wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting art materials on. Ensure that clothes are appropriate for work environment (Jeans & T-shirt are fine). Please bring a notebook and pen.

Bakery & Patisserie – Please wear enclosed footwear, no jewellery and ensure your nails are short and hair is tied back. Please bring a bottle of water.
Barbering – Please try to wear black trousers, plain t-shirt, enclosed toe shoes and minimal jewellery. Please bring a bottle of water.
Beauty Therapy – Please try to wear black trousers, plain t-shirt, enclosed toe shoes and minimal jewellery. Please bring a bottle of water.
Hospitality – Ensure hair is tied back and nails are short. Please do not wear jewellery and bring a bottle of water.
Professional Cookery – Ensure hair is tied back and nails are short. Please do not wear jewellery and bring a bottle of water.
Esports – Please bring a notebook and pen.
T Level in Digital Production, Design & Development – Please wear smart casual clothing and bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
T Level in Digital Support Services – Please wear smart casual clothing and bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
Football Studies – Please wear/bring a practical football training kit with appropriate football boots (moulded studs). Please bring a notebook, pen and plenty of fluid.
Hairdressing – Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes, no jewellery, hair tied back and have short nails. Please bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
Hair & Media Make-up – Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes, no jewellery, hair tied back and have short nails. Please bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water.
Leadership Academy – Please wear sports clothing and bring a notebook and pen.
Motor Vehicle – Please wear casual clothing and sturdy footwear. Please bring a notebook and pen. Remember not to wear your best trainers and clothing, as it may get stained.
Personal Training/L2 and L3 Sport – Please wear sports clothing, bring a notebook and pen.
Public Services – Please wear appropriate clothes to do a practical teamwork activity. Please bring a notebook, pen and bottle of water. Remember not to wear your best clothing and trainers, as it may get stained.

Games, Animation & Visual FX – Please wear casual clothing, remember to wear suncream if it is a sunny day.
Media – Please wear casual clothing.
Music – Wear casual clothing. Please bring your Guitar, bass, ukulele etc, bring your instruments in. Drummers bring drumsticks. Please note, you will be playing music with other students, so please bring anything you need (cables, tuner, picks, sticks etc.).
Performing Arts – Please wear comfortable, appropriate clothing.
