Following the departure of our current Group Director of Quality, we are seizing the opportunity to build on strong foundations and accelerate our ambitions for excellence even further across the Milton Keynes College Group. This is a pivotal role with real influence, shaping the quality of education and making a lasting difference to the experiences, outcomes and life chances of our learners.

We are seeking an exceptional and forward-thinking leader who shares our commitment to unlocking potential and transforming lives through education. This is a unique opportunity to inspire meaningful, strategic change and to nurture a culture where innovation, inclusivity and continuous improvement are part of everyday practice, and where both learners and colleagues can thrive.

As a key leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding, high-quality education across all areas of the College Group, creating an environment where every learner thrives and every colleague is empowered to excel. You will champion equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding, ensuring these values are embedded in everything we do.

You will lead the delivery of our Quality Strategy, shaping a consistent culture of excellence across Study Programmes, Adult Learning, Higher Education, Prison Education Services and Commercial provision. At the heart of this role is our shared purpose: delivering exceptional learning experiences that transform lives.

We are seeking an inspiring and impactful leader who can drive meaningful change, think creatively and continuously raise standards, embedding best practice and fostering innovation across a diverse and dynamic educational landscape.

Before applying, our Executive Principal, Cat Marin, welcomes the opportunity for an informal conversation to support your understanding of the College, the role and key considerations. Please contact the Executive Assistant, Karen Attwell, at karen.attwell@mkcollege.ac.uk to arrange a Microsoft Teams call.

The selection process will include a formal shortlisting interview in the week commencing 22 June 2026, followed by an assessment centre in the week commencing 6 July 2026. If you are due to be on annual leave during this period, please inform the recruitment team at recruitment@mkcollege.ac.uk
