You will learn essential welding skills that can be used in everyday life, whether at home or in a workplace setting. Through this course, you will also develop your understanding of common measures, shape, space, and problem-solving while working on a practical welding project.

This course is ideal for adults aged 19 and over who have lived in the UK for at least three years. It is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy hands-on learning and want to build practical skills in a workshop environment.

Entry requirements

You will need a good level of English to ensure safety in a workshop setting.

You will be assessed through practical activities that showcase your welding skills and progress.

You will need to attend college for 3 hours each week.
