Course overview
Dive straight into practical arts activities in a supportive adult learning environment, using specialist equipment. This course gives you the time and space to focus on your creativity and express yourself through a variety of media.
What will I do?
You will explore methods in clay hand-building, printing, sculpture, and more! Throughout the course, you will develop skills in measurements, shape, space, and problem-solving as you work on practical art activities.
What’s next?
Once you complete this course, you can explore other creative arts and design courses, including accredited arts courses. You may also choose to pursue further studies in maths to complement your artistic skills.
Is it for me?
This course is designed for adults aged 19 and above who have lived in the UK for at least three years. It is perfect for those who enjoy expressing themselves creatively and working hands-on with different art forms.
Entry requirements
You will need a good level of English to ensure safety in a workshop environment.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical activities, allowing you to demonstrate your artistic progress and creativity.
How much will I have to study each week?
You will need to commit to 3 hours of study per week.
