Course overview
Develop skills in common measures, shape & space, and problem solving as you work through a practical home decorating project.
What will I do?
You will have the opportunity to try wallpapering and painting techniques, gaining valuable experience in these practical tasks. You will also learn money-saving tips and tricks to help you make the most of your materials.
What’s next?
Once you have completed the course, you can use your new decorating skills at home or in the workplace. You may also choose to progress to a recognised welding accreditation or continue with further maths studies to build on your knowledge.

This course is designed for adults aged 19 and over who have lived in the UK for at least three years. It is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on learning and want to improve their practical skills.
Entry requirements
You will need a good level of English to ensure safety in a workshop environment.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through practical activities where you can demonstrate your newly acquired skills.
How much will I have to study each week?
You will need to commit to 3 hours of study per week.
