This programme is designed with employers to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed for careers in sport and recreation, higher education, or American football scholarships.


Upon completing the two-year course, the diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels and can earn up to 168 UCAS points.*

What will I do?

At Milton Keynes College, the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport covers 14 units over two years. These include topics such as:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Sports Performance Analysis
  • Technical and Tactical Demands of Sport
  • Sports Coaching
  • Investigating Business in the Sport and Active Leisure Industries

This full-time course integrates academic learning with Football Academy training and fixtures.
