What will I do?
This course will involve learners to gain advanced skills in Welding steel and aluminium in a vertical position. Knowledge in destructive testing and visual inspection to determine if a weld will pass or fail.
What’s next?
Upon completion of this course, you will gain an industry recognised qualification that will allow you to gain employment.

HOW WILL MY PROGRESS BE MONITORED?
Progress will be monitored through workbooks which include WPS documents for each weld and feedback
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a series of practical sessions delivered in workshops, using industry-standard equipment. You will be assessed through a single oral exam
How much will I have to study each week?
This will be one evening per week for 12 weeks. Hours 6pm – 9pm
DO I NEED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING?
Every applicant is required to have their own overalls and safety boots. Other PPE items will be provided by the College.
