INTRODUCTION

Equivalent to 3 A levels, this course has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to ensure the content prepares learners for the world of work and meets industry needs.

Please note: T Levels are only available for students that will be 16-18 whilst studying the qualification. 

What will I do

This exciting qualification is to equip the student with the core knowledge and core skills that are relevant to health care. Students will undertake Industry Placement to further develop knowledge, skills and behaviours required by skilled employment.

What’s next?

Once completed there are different routes available to you: Apprenticeship, employment in the healthcare or social care sector, university for a professional pathway.

Is it for me?

Entry requirements: You require 5 GCSEs at grade 5 and above including GCSE English Language, GCSE Science and GCSE Maths.

Students need to be self-motivated and have a desire to progress.

HOW MUCH WILL I HAVE TO STUDY?

This programme will be for 5 days a week to include industry placement & independent study time.

As part of achieving the overall T Level programme, students are required to complete a minimum of 315 hours industry placement.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

External examinations, an Employer-set project and an occupational specialism assignment which is a case study, practical activities assessments and a professional discussion.

How will my progress be monitored?

You will have regular reviews and one-to-one meetings with key staff to assist with your journey of learning.
