The Level 1 Award in Moving Image is designed for anyone with an interest in film, television, or other forms of moving image media. Whether you are just starting out or have some experience, this course will help you develop the basic skills needed to create and edit moving image sequences for different purposes.
What will I do?
During the course, you’ll take part in both practical and theory-based sessions to understand how moving images are created and used across different types of media. You will learn how to generate ideas, plan your projects, produce footage, and edit your work using professional software.

How much will I have to study each week?
You’ll attend college for 3 hours per week for hands-on sessions. You should also spend around 1.5 hours per week on independent study to document and reflect on your creative work.
