DUTIES INCLUDE:
You won’t just be building machines—you’ll be learning from engineers whose work has literally reached space. Our team includes contributors to the James Webb Space Telescope, where they helped manufacture its ultra-reflective mirrors. Now, they’re ready to pass that expertise on to you.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the design and build of ultraprecision machine tools. You’ll receive world-class training and be immersed in cutting-edge engineering from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building foundational knowledge in precision engineering
- Getting hands-on with mechanical builds and system commissioning
- Learning to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Developing an appreciation for CAD software, drawings, and 3D modelling
- Exploring the principles of metrology and performing precision measurements
- Being introduced to machine control systems and how they drive performance

DUTIES INCLUDE:
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll work closely with experienced carpenters and contribute to real building projects while working toward a Carpentry & Joinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and handle materials safely
- Maintain clean work areas and tools

- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Follow site rules and health & safety procedures
