This introductory Welding course is for you if you are looking for basic welding skills and have no previous experience.
What’s next?
You can move on to a City and Guilds level 2 welding in all four processes plus an additional process (aluminium welding).

This course is designed for anyone who is looking for a refresher in welding or looking to get a job in the welding industry. Also if you’re thinking of taking up welding as a hobby, this course is for you.
How will I be assessed?
You will take on a series of practical sessions delivered with up-to-date industry equipment.
Addition information
Every applicant is required to have their own overalls and safety boots. Other PPE items will be provided by the College.
