Become a Governor
Independent governors are appointed by the Board, and staff and student governors are elected by staff and students, respectively.
We are looking for independent governors who can bring a diverse range of skills, knowledge and experience from their various backgrounds, including education, business, not for profit and public services. Diversity of thought and experience and understanding the needs of employers and our community is extremely important.
Would you consider becoming a Governor or a co-opted member of a committee or advisory group?
- Would you like to contribute to the development of education and training and to meeting the needs of learners and employers?
- Do you have experience of operating at a strategic level or want to develop these skills further?
- Can you act as an ambassador locally or regionally?
- Do you have a specific skill, experience, or links to the community?
- Are you a values led team player able to devote some time in a voluntary capacity?
If you are interested in making a difference to the lives of learners at Milton Keynes College, we want to hear from you.
