Experience life on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design course at MK College. This discovery day offers a comprehensive insight into the course, showcasing our specialist facilities. The day culminates in a creative workshop led by experienced tutors, with the results perfect for adding to your creative portfolio.
Session 1: 10am – 12:30pm
Session 2: 1pm – 3:30pm
Please note: This course is for students post A Level/Level 3 who are looking to develop their creative skills. Suitable for year 12 and 13 students.

Staff Profile: Kate Edwards Course Team Leader
Kate is an experienced lecturer and fine artist working in metal who has exhibited widely and worked to commission for private and corporate clients. Throughout her creative career she has been a visiting lecturer at several Universities teaching design and fine art. She has a BA Hons in Jewellery and Silversmithing and an MA in Furniture Design.
Staff Profile: Kyle Kirkpatrick Deputy Head of Arts and Media
Kyle is a practicing artist and Trustee of Milton Keynes Arts Centre. His most recent exhibitions include MK Calling at MK Gallery, Bankley Open in Manchester and Creekside Open in London .
He holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art; an MSc in Applied Technologies: Rapid Prototyping and Digital Technologies; and a PGCE in Art, Design and Media (Post-Compulsory Education). Currently, he is pursuing an MA in Creative Education at Norwich University of the Arts.
