It’s so nearly here – GCSE results day is just around the corner! On Thursday 12th August, you’ll be able to breathe a sigh of relief and finally put your exams behind you for the year. But what do you do once you actually know your grades?

I’ve applied to MK College – what’s next?

Once you have your grades on results day, you can enrol with us – this means you’re accepting a place on the course we’ve offered you. Everyone who’s applied and received a course offer will be sent an email so that they can enrol online – this is due to be sent on Wednesday 11th August. Please contact us if you need to update your email address, for example if you applied for your course using your school email address and won’t be able to access this in August.

On results day, just click on the link and follow the instructions. You’ll need a passport-style photo for your ID badge and a clear photo of your results to enrol so it might be a good idea to have these ready. Once you’ve completed your online enrolment you’ll receive a confirmation email, including a link to get any kit or uniform required for your course as well as details of how to apply for bursary. Our tutors are going to contact everyone who’s enrolled to check that they are on the right course and level for them – they will have lots of students to contact so don’t panic if you don’t hear from them straight away!

But what if my results aren’t as I expected?

Our tutors will be in touch with everyone who’s enrolled to check that they are on the right course and level for them. This means that if your results aren’t exactly what you were expecting, they can discuss your options. Whatever happens, don’t stress, as our Offer Guarantee means that your place to study with us is safe – there really is nothing to worry about.

I have my results but haven’t made an application yet?

If you haven’t applied to College by results day, Advisory Days are for you! There will still be options for you come September and we’re here to help you find them, no matter what happens. You will need to book an appointment to visit us during Advisory Days.

Advisory Days are being held on GCSE results day itself – Thursday 12th August, as well as Friday 13th and Monday 16th August. This is your chance to chat with us about your options and secure a place on a course for September 2021 entry. Appointments will be available to book from the evening before GCSE results day – more information on how to do this will follow very soon.
