Chloe’s Story | Pastry and Professional Cookery Student
Chloe is now a professional pastry chef at Silverstone and her story began with a childhood love of baking. To pursue her passion, she joined the pastry and professional cookery course, here at Milton Keynes College and began the intense journey towards a culinary career.
Chloe gained hands-on experience through our partnership with Silverstone, allowing her to learn from industry experts and showcase her talents. In addition, with the support of her college mentors, she took part in the National Culinary Championship and won the coveted title.
James’ Story | Forensic Science Student
From being told as a child that his handwriting challenges would prevent his future professional success, this young man has successfully navigated difficult obstacles and risen to become an exemplary student.
With the loving guidance of his family and the timely initiatives of his supportive head teacher and primary school technician, he was given the tools to flourish. Today, he is studying Forensic Science at MK College with the aspiration to study Criminology and Forensics at the University of Portsmouth.

Nelly’s Story | Performing Arts Student
Nelly discovered a passion for acting at the age of 10, and has now overcome his fears and ventured out of his comfort zone to pursue his dreams. He moved to Milton Keynes, joined the college’s Performing Arts course, and won Star of the Future and Student of the Year awards.
