This course is designed for individuals seeking either a welding refresher or entry into the welding industry, with progression options to City and Guilds Level 2 Welding in multiple practices, including aluminium welding.

This course is for anyone who is looking for a refresher in welding or looking to get a job in the welding industry. If you’re thinking of taking up welding as part of your hobby – this is also for you.

You can move on to study the City and Guilds Level 2 Welding in all four practices, plus an additional process (aluminium welding).

Do I need to purchase anything?
Every applicant is required to have their own overalls and safety boots. Other PPE items will be provided by the College.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a series of practical sessions delivered in workshops, using industry standard equipment.
