Join us online on the 17th June for the South Central Institute of Technology’s launch event that will feature a range of speakers from the digital, technology and education sectors, and talks from our Anchor Partners, current students and Sir Dermot Turing. 

Hosted by Dr Julie Mills OBE, CEO & Group Principal, and Alex Warner, Principal, South Central Institute of Technology, you can join us from the comfort of your own home and learn all about what it’s like to be an SCIoT student, why digital skills are desirable to businesses, and why the SCIoT is desperately needed to keep up with both present and future digital demands.

Who is this event for?  

This event is for anyone looking to find out more about the South Central IoT, the digital sector, and higher level technical qualifications, or for anyone who wants to get into the tech sector through a qualification or apprenticeship. The event is open to all whether you’re an employer, finishing school or college, have studied digital before, are working in the industry, or just want to find out more.  

Will I be able to ask any questions during the event? 

At the end of the launch event, there will be a live Q&A with Alex Warner and other event speakers, so make sure to prepare any questions that you may have prior to attending.  

Can I find out about digital apprenticeships at this event? 

Yes! There will be a session during the event where you will be able to hear from a current apprentice, as well as the benefits of completing a digital apprenticeship.
