CMI Level 3 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Management and Leadership
INTRODUCTION
In our Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 3 certificate in management and leadership course, you will learn about management from a practical viewpoint, what are the models that work, why do people behave the way they do? How can I manage change? Is managing my team the same as leading my team? How do I develop my own practice while developing others too? Am I ready to progress to the next level of management? All this and more will be explored throughout this programme.
What will I do?
A blend of online and classroom-based learning will allow you to study at your own pace at home, in the office or even on the train. This online learning will be supplemented by monthly workshops to spend quality time exploring the practical application of management models with peer learners and tutors.
There will be a range of modules covered on the programme including, but not limited to the key elements of management and leadership, motivation, developing professional skills, problem-solving and strategic skills.
There are 3 different qualifications that can be achieved depending on the number of units completed.
- Award in Management & Leadership; complete any ONE unit (£500)
- Certificate in Management & Leadership; complete TWO units (£950)
- Diploma in Management & Leadership; complete all EIGHT units (£1,350

What’s next?
Upon successful completion of the Diploma programme you may be able to apply for Chartered Manager status and we can help you with that process. You may also wish to further your ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 6 Qualifications in Management and Leadership.

HOW MUCH WILL I HAVE TO STUDY EACH WEEK?
Online delivery so working at their own pace outside of college through some of the modules. Attendance at monthly workshops (half day/all day depending on module).
HOW WILL MY PROGRESS BE MONITORED?
Regular meetings with the course tutor to support your progress throughout your programme of study. The workshops will give you valuable time face to face with your tutor as well.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
There will be a written assignment for each module. You will receive written feedback to help you continue to develop your written skills.
WHAT IS ONLINE AND ON CAMPUS
We have partnered with Mindful Education to deliver this course through our Online and On Campus model.
Online video lectures are available on demand, and can be viewed from your phone, tablet or computer. Lessons last for around 45 minutes and are accompanied by animations and motion graphics to bring concepts to life. Exercises, interactive case studies and analytical tools help to enhance the learning experience further.
On campus, you benefit from regular college classes – without having to commit to attending multiple evenings each week. Experienced tutors will discuss and reinforce what you have learnt during your online study and are on hand to provide guidance on progress and assessment. Discussion and debate with classmates will help you apply theories to situations you face in the workplace.
