LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY
What will I do?
In 2015/16, there were 62,518 offences recorded by the police in England and Walesin which hate crimes were deemed to be a motivating factor.
This qualification promotes social awareness and good practice of equality and diversity within a community, at work, at home and in society in general.
This course is split into 3 manageable units:
Unit 1: Equality and diversity in society
Unit 2: Equality and diversity in the community
Unit 3: Equality and diversity in the workplace
By undertaking this course, you will gain formal recognition by obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
This course requires the completion and passing of three short tutor marked online unit assessments. Learners are allocated a course tutor who will mark assessments and are able to offer support through the online learning platform.
WHAT LEVEL IS THIS QUALIFICATION?
This qualification is a Level 2 Certificate with the awarding body NCFE.
HOW MUCH WILL I HAVE TO STUDY EACH WEEK?
The course duration is 6 weeks and will requires approximately 4 – 6 hours of study per week plus the submission of 3 online assessments during the course. Course start dates are flexible, but learners are expected to successfully complete the programme within the allocated timescale.

ARE THERE ANY ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
All applicants must be at least 19 years of age to enrol for the course and have a good level of English skills to a minimum of Level One standard.
Applicants aged 19-23 are only eligible if they have already achieved a full Level 2 qualification or equivalent. Please contact us for clarification if required.
Applicants aged 24+ do not require any prior academic qualifications, but do need to meet the required standard of English skills. Applicants must have lived in the EU for the last three years, currently reside in England, with a postcode outside of London, Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley, and the West Midlands.
