Entry Level 3 in Essential Digital Skills
Can you text your friends and search the internet but are unsure how to use technology more than this?
Would you like to:
· Organise your digital life better?
· Increase your confidence in troubleshooting technical problems
· Learn how to create engaging documents
· Learn how you protect yourself and your devices from digital threats
· Increase your confidence applying for things like passports, train tickets, etc.
· Communicate effectively with your friends and family sharing photos and using video calls
This 10-week course is suitable for those who have basic digital skills. It is not suitable for those who are already confident with technology. You will be entered for an exam and gain a qualification at the end.

What will I do?
The learners will learn essential digital skills. Using devices and handling information, Creating, and editing, Communicating, Transacting, Being safe and responsible online.
What’s next?
Learners can potentially enrol on a Level 2 Digital Skills for Work course.
Is it for me?
You must be over the age of 19 and have up to E2 Level of English skills in order to enrol onto the course. You must be enthusiastic and will need to commit to completing the course and sitting the exam to achieve the qualification.
Are there any entry requirements?
You need to be over the age of 19. No former experience or qualifications required. English Language skills need to be at E2 Level or above.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
There will be formative assessments recorded on the equal platform for each session. A Mock Exam after 5 weeks of classroom sessions. An exam at the end of the course.
HOW MUCH WILL I HAVE TO STUDY EACH WEEK?
3 hours of classroom time. 1.5 hours of homework every week.
HOW WILL MY PROGRESS BE MONITORED?
Your progress will be monitored on Equal. Feedback will be provided on work completed and they have regular progress reviews with the tutor.
