LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN PRINCIPLES OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
What will I do?
This Level 2 Customer Service course enables learners to develop existing skills and gain knowledge of key areas for efficient customer service, such as communicating with customers and handling information. This Level 2 Customer Service course is suitable for anyone who is interested in customer service, and those who are hoping for career progression or employment opportunities in the customer service industry.
This course is split into 7 manageable units:
Unit 1: Principles of customer service and delivery
Unit 2: Understand customers
Unit 3: Understand employer organisations
Unit 4: Understand how to communicate with customers
Unit 5: Understand how to handle customer information
Unit 6: Understand how to resolve problems and deliver customer service to challenging customers
Unit 7: Understanding how to develop customer relationships
*Funding is subject to learners meeting set eligibility criteria; this may be discussed prior to the start of any course. Learners must be aged 19+ and have lived in the EU for the past three years. Please note that a withdrawal fee of £90 is payable if learners decide to withdraw from the course.
By undertaking this Level 2 Customer Service course, you will gain formal recognition by obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. This will enable you to further your own continuous professional development, which could support you in improving your career prospects. You can also progress onto further qualifications.

HOW MUCH WILL I HAVE TO STUDY EACH WEEK?
The course duration is 9 weeks and will requires approximately 4 – 6 hours of study per week plus the submission of 7 online assessments during the course. Course start dates are flexible, but learners are expected to successfully complete the programme within the allocated timescale.
WHAT KIND OF QUALIFICATION IS THIS?
Learners will receive a nationally recognised qualification by successfully completing this course. The Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service is awarded by NCFE.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
This course requires the completion and passing of seven short tutor marked online unit assessments. Learners are allocated a course tutor who will mark assessments and are able to offer support through the online learning platform.
ARE THERE ANY ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
All applicants must be at least 19 years of age to enrol for the course and have a good level of English skills to a minimum of Level One standard. Applicants aged 19-23 are only eligible if they have already achieved a full Level 2 qualification or equivalent.

Applicants must have lived in the EU for the last three years, currently reside in England, with a postcode outside of London, Greater
Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley, and the West Midlands. Please contact providers in your local area for alternative options
These courses are free for eligible applicants who successfully complete the course. A fee of £90 will be charged to learners who enrol onto the programme but do not complete the course.
