Our Events Manager, Janine Coney offers some wise words on what to look out for from MK College in 2018.

With Christmas now a distant memory, your thoughts will be turning to the year ahead and everything that 2018 will hold for you…

There is so much more to college than just a qualification. You can view our prospectus via the college website, but I’d also strongly recommend that you come along to one of our open events held throughout the year to meet the tutors, view the facilities on campus and discover what #MKCollegeLife is really like for our students. We offer Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, Supported Studies and Higher Education as full time options. Apprenticeships are also a great way to train, qualify and gain valuable work-based experience while earning a wage. Our dedicated Apprenticeships team will be available at open events for you to talk to, and will help you with any queries or worries you may have.

We hold open events in January, March and May, and you can skip the queues on the night by pre-registering online, then when you arrive you can head directly through to the study areas you’d like to discover. Whilst you are here, remember to check out the entry requirements for your chosen study programme and talk to our friendly event staff, experienced tutors and current students who will be ready to show you around the campuses. Expert advice is always available throughout the event to help answer any of your questions about study options, support, and student finance. Our applications team can even help you apply on the night in the application zone before you leave, meaning you can get it done and dusted while you’re here.

Don’t forget to make sure you visit the right campus for your chosen study area, all details can be found online. Our three College campuses offer interactive learning environments, and we have invested in industry standard facilities to help ensure your time and experience at the College is the best it can be.
